RFID in waste collection
Improvement-it realized a new project in cooperation with Stichting Afvalstoffen Vaardocumenten Binnenvaart (SAB).
This project registrates waste collection by using innovative NFC RFID technology. The waste removal is registered by reading the user NFC card and entering the amount of waste taken by the collector via an RFID enabled PDA.
A cloud based solution arranges all waste registrations and payments. As NFC chip the latest NXP NTAG203 chip has been selected in combination with a DOT300 RFID enabled PDA.

With an advanced UHF system (Ultra High Frequency), students in the library of the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam can lend books themselves, without the intervention of a librarian. The system saves costs, improves service and provides opportunities for the future with your mobile phone to search for the right book.
